If you need a recipe for buttercream frosting, Martha Stewart
is your girl. But a recipe for buttercream smooth skin? Soon to also be
true! The head of her own domestic empire is reportedly launching her
own skincare line.
[post_ads]The business mogul, TV host and queen of craft
and kitchen already has quite a sizable retail footprint, including home
goods, office supplies and goodies for a Martha Stewart-approved craft
cabinet. But according to an announcement made this week in partnership
with QVC, she’s getting deep into lifestyle territory with the launch of
beauty and fashion categories, reports the Hollywood Reporter.
The
75-year-old lifestyle guru and former model already has deep ties to
the fashion world, often spotted abreast of the runway at New York
Fashion Week. Leveraging her brand to share some of those skin and style
secrets seems like a natural extension.
"Our brand has always
been devoted to teaching and inspiring people to live more beautiful,
more functional and more meaningful lives, and our products provide
solutions to do just that," Stewart said in a press release. "I am
thrilled to partner with QVC, which offers unique opportunities to
engage directly with an even broader audience, bringing to life several
new categories for the Martha brand, including beauty and fashion."

In 2013, Martha took us through her exact beauty routine,
which includes five different soaps, a diligent exfoliating regimen and
face cream indulgently used all over her body. Combined with simple
skin secrets like splashing her face with warm water as soon as she
wakes up and drinking fresh squeezed lemon juice every a.m. it’s clear
the mogul has been sitting on an arsenal of beauty knowledge and we
can't wait to get in on the skin secrets.
Details on exactly what
the line will include and how much her skin salves and beauty balms will
run have yet to be disclosed, but the products are expected to drop on
QVC later this year. Here’s hoping for some soaps infused with natural exfoliants and vitamin C-boosted serums to get Martha’s lit-from-within glow.
