Ice Cream Makeup Is Blowing Up on Instagram Long After Halloween

Ice cream makeup is the latest out-there beauty trend to take the internet by storm. And why not? From tomato and tampon and condom Beautyblenders, these days there seems to be no limit on how creative one can get with their beauty game. Not to mention, snogged lips, glow-in-the-dark-hair, and feathered brows. Ice cream makeup, though, may be the actual cherry on top of all these trends.
    
[post_ads]While the trend doesn’t involve any actual ice cream, it seeks to re-create the look of it with swirls of colorful cream, cones on foreheads (some cardboard, some waffle), and even sprinkles glued onto faces. These fantastical looks are created with all kinds of tools, ranging from the traditional eye shadow palettes to face paints, and adorned with creative touches like fake (we’re assuming) caramel sauce and cones.As Cosmopolitan.com points out, the trend was big last Halloween, but never seemed to go away completely. And then last night, Reddit user hiimkaylaa posted her own version of the trend.

When you think about it, ice cream makeup does make a certain amount of sense. Summer just started, so people are thinking about fun and colors and yes, ice cream.
