Having a wedding
isn't just fun because of the whole
getting-married-to-the-love-of-your-life thing. It's also a perfect
excuse to put on the most stunning white wedding dress,
feel like a celebrity as your stylist gives you your dream 'do, and of
course have a face of makeup that will make your guests' jaws drop.

You probably have a solid everyday makeup look
you rock at work and out with friends, but your wedding is a
once-in-a-lifetime event—so why not go all out? Even if the change you
make it subtle, people will notice. And focusing in on some of this
year's top fall makeup trends is a great place to start.
"No Makeup" Makeup
The "no makeup" makeup trend isn't anything new, but it's a fall
wedding must-try. "It's a great way to enhance your natural beauty on
your big day," says New York-based celebrity makeup artist Megan Lanoux.
"You're beautiful—and there's no need to cover your entire face! Plus,
no one wants a makeup mask that will smear on the suit jackets of
innocent men throughout the night."
Master it yourself by keeping your makeup as minimal as possible.
Apply under-eye concealer and cover up any blemishes, like Kevyn
Aucoin's The Sensual Skin Enhancer, use a tinted moisturizer (Lanoux loves Jouer's Luminizing Moisture Tint), and make your eyes pop with natural-looking mascara and a subtle shadow, like Tarte's Rainforest of the Sea Palette.
Radiant and Beautiful Skin
Who doesn't want to radiate happiness from the inside out on their wedding day? According to Lanoux, the more your skin glows, the healthier you look—and getting gorgeous skin is actually pretty easy.

Glossy and Pink Lips
You don't need to do a bold lip
on your wedding day to turn heads. Instead, opt for something that
makes your natural features pop. "I'm all about accentuating natural
features, and that includes your lips," Lanoux says. "On your wedding
day, it's best to enhance your natural lip pigment. I recommend using a lip stain so you don't need to worry about reapplying throughout the day."
When trying to master this trend, Lanoux suggests getting a lip stain
that includes a hydrating gloss that you can reapply if you feel like
your lips are getting dry. Her favorite? Chanel's Ultra Wear Lip Colour, which comes in multiple shades and won't leave you feeling sticky or dry.
Brown Eye Shadow
Instead of using colorful eye shadows, stick with
neutrals—specifically brown shades. "Sticking with the natural beauty
theme, I recommend using brown tones around the eyes," Lanoux says.
"It'll make your eyes pop without being too loud or dramatic."
Nailing the look is actually fairly easy. Start by dusting a light
brown eyeshadow on your eyelid, then use a matte brown pencil on the
lash line; Lanoux likes to smudge it after applying. If you're trying to
decide on palettes, try Tom Ford's Eye Quad in Cocoa Mirage and Giorgio Armani's Smooth Silk Eye Pencil #2.

Strong Eyebrows
The strong eyebrow trend should never go out of style. Even if you've
done some over-plucking, a little makeup can go a long way in giving
you that nice, full look for your wedding and beyond. "Eyebrows can
really make or break your makeup application," Lanoux says. "With full
eyebrows trending, focusing on them is a must."
If your brows are already well-shaped,
Lanoux recommends using a powder to fill them in. But if they need a
little more shape, grab a brow pencil. Try Anastasia Beverly Hills' Brow Wiz pencil and Brow Powder Duo.
Eyelashes
To add a little glam without taking away from your other features, go for some false lashes: "They're a game-changer, especially when the rest of your makeup is fairly natural," Lanoux says.
Instead of sticking on a set of full lashes, Lanoux recommends going for Ardell's black Individual Lashes
for a more natural look. Don't want to mess with falsies? Try lash
extensions, which will stay on for up to four weeks—AKA perfect for your
honeymoon. Or, snag Tarte's Maneater Voluptuous Mascara for amped-up lashes without flaking or clumping.
