If there’s one day in your life that you might not have gotten enough shut-eye, it’s your wedding day.
And somehow, you’re expected to look more well rested than ever before!
Not only does this call for an extra cup of coffee or two, and maybe a
mimosa (or a few) thrown in there while you’re getting ready, it also
requires some seriously hard-working under-eye concealer that won’t crease or spread, and instead blend perfectly with your skin tone.
So
to help you save face, we asked the makeup artists who make brides
beautiful on the daily which concealers they swear by. These are the
best of the best!
Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer
This
is a go-to for makeup artists near and far, thanks to its long-wearing
and full-coverage capabilities. “Since it’s a liquid concealer that
dries to a semimatte finish, it looks natural without settling into
lines,” says makeup artist and owner of MG Beauty
Mindy Green. It comes in 16 shades ranging from true ivory to dark
brown, with a pleasant olive undertone, and, with infused antioxidant
protection, it’ll help shield your skin against damaging free radicals
in the environment.

Wander Beauty Dualist Matte & Illuminating Concealer
For
those looking to play around with both matte and illuminating
concealers, this dual-sided, full-coverage concealer will live up to
your expectations. One side is a matte stick and the other is a
lightweight, liquid concealer. Both are formulated to provide maximum
coverage, concealing everything from blemishes to dark circles and any
hyper-pigmentation, unevenness, and redness in between.

LancĂ´me Effacernes Waterproof Protective Undereye Concealer
For
Vinnetta Scrivo, a celebrity makeup artist and beauty expert who’s
worked with Martha Stewart, nothing compares to LancĂ´me Effacernes
Waterproof Protective Undereye Concealer. “It’s hands down the best
product for concealing dark circles and puffiness that I’ve used in my
entire career,” she tells Brides. “The finish is soft and matte, yet it softens fine lines around the eye and erases any signs of fatigue.” It’s also waterproof, which is a must on your wedding day!

Tarte Double Duty Beauty Shape Tape Contour Concealer
Whether
you’re looking to hide fine lines or cover up dark circles, this
long-lasting, double-duty concealer was made to do both. “The product
itself is creamy and glides onto the skin well, and once it’s set with a
bit of powder it does not move at all,” says Colby Correnti,
Boston-based makeup artist and founder of Pretty Wife Beauty.
It sculpts and highlights all the right areas, and it’s super
hydrating, which is key—especially on a day when you’ll be rocking a
full face of makeup for 12 hours minimum!

It Cosmetics Bye Bye Under Eye Anti-Aging Concealer
Good makeup should mirror good skin care
so that you not only get a long-lasting look but also won’t have to
deal with redness and irritation after wearing it for more than a few
hours. This liquid concealer is infused with vitamins
and high-performance pigments that conceal everything from broken
capillaries and age spots to dark circles and under-eye bags that are
anything but designer. “I love its nourishing ingredients that provide a
nice, creamy finish that won’t crack,” says Erin B. Guth, a Los Angeles–based celebrity makeup artist.

Urban Decay 24/7 Concealer
If
you think you’ll have trouble falling asleep before the most exciting
day of your life, don’t worry about a thing; just dab on some of this
creamy concealer before you walk down the aisle and you’ll look as
well-rested as one can be. “It’s so creamy that I can just apply with a
damp beauty blender and it goes on so effortlessly,” says Brandy
Gomez-Duplessis, celebrity makeup artist and cofounder of Entitled Beauty. “It brightens and hide the dark circles so well that my brides look like they slept for days.”
Marc Jacobs Remedy Concealer Pen
For
a more mature eye, Correnti’s go-to is Marc Jacobs Remedy Concealer
Pen. “I always follow a ‘less is more philosophy,’ since there is
nothing worse than piling a heavy amount of product onto an eye that has
fine lines or a decent amount of texture,” she says. “That’s why I use
this concealing pen. The texture is extremely thin and light, but it has
a serious amount of pigment, so a little goes a long way.”

Glossier Stretch Concealer
The “natural makeup look”
couldn’t be more in, as is the desire to look dewy and “glassy.” In
fact, the Korean skin-care trend known as “glass skin” is all about
effortlessly creating a glimmering look with nourishing oils for a
natural shine. Glossier’s mission is similar, which is why its concealer
is anything but stiff and dry. It uses elastic micro waxes that move
with your face instead of sitting still, caked on top.
