If you have thick hair
You've broken a hair tie or two in your day and humidity can do savage things to your blowout, but volume is never an issue. The right cut—in this case, a layered longish bob with a slight A-line shape—can play up the bounce without looking heavy.
If you have thin hair
Your hair has that wonderful tendency to fall limp if you use too much conditioner. That’s why a bob was practically made for you (see Taylor Swift, Karlie Kloss and our girl Bella here). With a fast drying time, if you keep the ends blunt and one length to create more body throughout, this could be the easiest hair win of all time.
If you have curly hair
Day-two hair? Child’s play. Most days you can get away with just spritzing your curls with some water to freshen things up. And a short cut makes it even easier to style. Just ask for some (and by some, we mean minimal) layers in the back and on the bottom to keep things from looking boxy.
If you have straight hair
Raise your hand if your hair couldn’t hold a curl to save its life. Good news: You also saved hundreds of dollars on keratin treatments, flatirons and straightening serums. Oh, and you can rock an angled bob like no one else. Keep the ends sharp and slightly asymmetrical to emphasize the style.
If you have wavy hair
Sure, you might have a cowlick here and there—and sure, your hair can look a little crazy in the mornings, but having enough "texture" is not something you ever worry about. Let that God-given texture work in your favor with a chin-grazing cut and some swingy curtain bangs like Kat here.
