Deep moisturizers
Coat damp hair with avocado, banana, or 2 tablespoons mayonnaise, honey, or coconut oil. Leave on at least 15 minutes. Shampoo.Shampoos
Add the following to 1 cup of baby shampoo:For dry hair
2 tablespoons olive or almond oil or 1 eggFor oily hair
2 tablespoons lemon juice or aloe vera gelFor normal hair
1/4 cup beer or flat champagneStyling gel
2 table spoons flaxseeds in 1 cup boiled water until it thickens. The clear gel produced is ideal for setting the hair.Cleansing rinse
Rinse hair with 1/4 cup baking soda dissolved in 2 cups of warm water. Will remove build-up from hair spray and styling gels, as well as chlorine.Dandruff treatment
Rinse with 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar in 1 cup warm water.
