I'm starting to think Kerry Cole, global style director of Becca Cosmetics, is actually Zenon. (I mean, have you ever seen her and the Girl of the 21st Century in the same room?) The new Becca Light Chaser Highlighters and Liquid Crystal Lip Toppers look like something that only the Disney Channel Original Movie character could dream up — and we're obsessed.
[post_ads]In February, Becca released a limited-edition holographic purple highlighter that was just a sneak peek at more prismatic products. Next month, we'll have more multi-dimensional highlighter shades to choose from — six to be exact — as well as some of the most shimmery lip glosses in the game. (Becca doesn't venture in the lip category often, so the latter will be interesting to test out.) On Instagram, Cole explained what we could expect from the new launches. "These kaleidoscopic formulas shift shades as they catch the light to create hypnotizing colour with a metamorphic finish," she wrote. Basically, they're holographic. You can expect color-changing products that will make you feel like a human mood ring. (That's honestly all I ever want to embody anyway.)

The highlighters seem to be a special combination of one of Becca's popular Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed Highlighter shades and a new prismatic hue. For example, there are Light Chaser Highlighter shades listed as Opal Flashes Jade and Topaz Flashes Gilt on Instagram. The first part listed sound familiar, right? Another interesting feature of the new highlighters is they can be used on eyes, too. When Prismatic Amethyst dropped, Cole said she liked turning it into a metallic liner with a wet brush. I can't wait to try the same trick with these things, too. Maybe a sparkly twist on the standard pinup look is in order for summer. The Becca Light Chaser Highlighters and Liquid Crystal Lip Toppers will be launching exclusively at Sephora and on beccasometics.com in early June. (Psst, that's only a week away.)
