If you scour Pinterest for short-hair inspiration, chances are good you'll come across a photo or 10 of Lucy Hale's cropped 'do. The actress has been rocking shorter strands for years now and has proven time and time again that the look is as versatile as long hair. But would she ever take her chin-length bob even shorter than it already is? It turns out the answer is yes — and Lucy didn't even need to schedule a haircut to make the change happen.
[post_ads]On Thursday, the star of the upcoming CW show Life Sentence Instagrammed a look created by longtime hairstylist Kristin Ess. And while it may seem like Lucy's hair transformed into a pixie cut, it's a bit of an optical illusion. Kristin made a deep side part before sweeping some of Lucy's shorter pieces to the side, and pinning the rest up so that it resembled a tousled, pretty crop. To top the look off, makeup artist Kelsey Deenihan gave Lucy a deep berry lip and smoked-out eyeshadow, for an overall punky effect."When @kristin_ess knows how to fake an even shorter haircut on you and now you want to actually do it 🤔 one day ...," Lucy captioned the photo, so you never know — maybe a trip to the salon is in her future after all.
