There's a new nude in town.

Essie is known for its amazing selection of nude nail polish. The brand's bridal-party-favorite Ballet Slippers, a sheer pink shade, is beloved for the way it works on a wide range of skin tones by enhancing the natural rosiness of the nail bed. But it seems there’s a new favorite neutral nail polish rising in the ranks, Topless and Barefoot ($9), which is more opaque, with a beige finish.
[post_ads]Just last year, everyone was talking about Essie’s mauve hue Angora, but it looks like the Pinterest
pendulum is swinging back toward the subtle side of things. The
photo-sharing site says it has has seen a 796 percent increase in
Topless and Barefoot’s popularity recently. It is now officially the
most-pinned nail polish, beating out Angora and overshadowing the
reigning nude nail polish. You can get Topless and Barefoot in both
regular polish and long-lasting gel lacquer.
Here’s how it looks out of the bottle.
