After months of speculation and a whole lot of teasing, Kat Von D has officially announced she's launching not one but four new Everlasting Liquid Lipstick shades — all in the name of charity.
[post_ads]On her personal Instagram page, the makeup mogul shared a selfie wearing a mysterious rosy-toned shade, while giving fans the lowdown on the launches in the caption: "I've been testing out 4 NEW SHADES for the upcoming @katvondbeauty charity this year which proceeds will benefit @farmsanctuary! I'm naming this beautiful terra-cotta brick shade: "Hilda" — after the very first animal rescued by @farmsanctuary in 1986," she wrote. "Hilda was a sheep that had been found discarded on top of a pile of dead animals in a stockyard left to die slowly from starvation and neglect."
"Thankfully, because of compassionate activists like @genebaur and the folks over at @farmsanctuary, innocent animals [just like Hilda] are rescued, rehabilitated, and given a chance to live a long, loving life — and I can't wait to raise money from these 4 new Everlasting Liquid Lipstick shades to donate to @farmsanctuary!"

Let's get down to the details, shall we? Hilda, the rosy shade Von D wore in the announcement photo, is brighter than Plath, a brick-brown from the current collection and is "definitely a romantic/more wearable shade," she wrote to a fan in the comments. "I think Hilda will universally look amazing on all skin tones." And if it's worth mentioning, these new hues are vegan and cruelty-free, like the rest of the line.

If you're dying to get a glimpse of the remaining shades, Von D and the team will be posting "sneak peeks" from the new collection, dubbed the Farm Sanctuary Collection, on the brand's Instagram page (@katvondbeauty) "real soon." In the meantime, check back in, as we'll be updating as new details emerge.
