While some moviegoers are taken by the special effects or happy endings in this summer's blockbusters, we can't stop thinking about the hairstyles. Our latest obsession: Sienna Miller—as a brunette(!)—in G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra, which opens today. And there was Zoe Saldana's high, tight, and otherworldly ponytail in Star Trek, Megan Fox's sexy waves in Transformers, and Katherine Heigl's cute bun in The Ugly Truth.... We asked New York City-based celebrity hairstylist Ted Gibson how to get the looks.

Sienna Miller's blunt, shiny hair in G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra
Miller's wearing a wig here, but for a serious, straight, blunt style, Gibson says to "first rub a Ted Gibson Hair Sheet Styling over hair that's been blown-out straight to add shine. Then, for the ultimate flatness and smoothness, use a flat iron on 1-inch sections. Follow with some hairspray for hold."
Zoe Saldana's sleek, high-ponytail in* Star Trek*
"Apply gel to slick hair back in to a ponytail all the way at the top of the crown. Secure the ponytail with a hair elastic or bungee band. Use a small amount of hairspray for extra smoothness and hold."

Megan Fox's beachy waves in Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen
"With a large, one-and-a-half-inch barrel curling iron, wrap medium-sized sections of hair around the barrel, hold for a few seconds, and release. After curling, flip your head upside down and give your hair a good shake—flip it back over and follow with a little spray for that sexy, super-soft look."

Katherine Heigl's low bun in The Ugly Truth
"This simple bun is as simple as it looks! Run a small amount of Ted Gibson Tame It Shine Lotion through dry hair. Then pull your hair back to the nape of the neck and secure it with a hair elastic or bungee band. Twist the ponytail until it has a soft, rope-like texture and coil it around the base of the ponytail and secure with hair pins."
