Get a group of beauty editors in a room and start talking about the craziest beauty hacks they've ever tried. We promise, things will get wild fast. And for all the times we've used spray starch on our hair or smeared lipstick on our cheeks, there are also lots (and lots) of beauty hacks too insane even for us to attempt. We're honestly not sure where this brow hack from YouTube beauty blogger Stephanie Lange falls on the spectrum, but we can't stop watching.
[post_ads]Like many of us, Lange has found herself paying for years of inauspicious plucking with sparse, thin brows. Having tried brow tattoos, and "pretty much everything else there is," Lange decided to go for a, shall we say, unconventional solution with brow extensions. Specifically, they're made from her very own hair. Yes, really.
We have to give her points for creativity on this one. When most of us would have turned to a simple brow pencil or perhaps some semipermanent brow gel, Lange decided to give the ends of her long hair a trim (with some fairly questionable scissors) to make her own perfectly color-matched brow extensions. Later in the process, she has the revelation that hair extensions matched to your hair color would also work, you know, if you don't feel like giving yourself a trim on a daily basis. After cutting the trimmed bits of her hair down to an appropriate size, Lange dipped individual hairs into lash glue (don't worry, she had lash glue remover on hand for taking them off later) and carefully applied them to her natural brows.

The process looks pretty time-consuming, but the results are actually better than we would have guessed. It's clear that the extensions aren't her natural brow hairs, but from a reasonable person-to-person distance, we're not sure if you'd notice. All in all, it seems like an awful lot of work for the results, when there are so many other products made specifically for brows. Still, we have to commend her innovative spirit. We also had to watch that video just one more time, because man, it's bananas.
