Finding a concealer that covers spots on your face is fairly easy, but finding one that completely covers your undereye bags is another story. When we saw a Reddit user had discovered a concealer that seriously does the trick, we knew we had to share it with you. The best part: It's a drugstore product.
[post_ads]Reddit user flyaninnocentlife posted an Imgur photo a few days ago showing how well the Rimmel London Lasting Finish Concealer (which you can buy at ASOS for $6.23) covers up her undereye bags and dark circles. She demonstrates how—when paired with foundation—the concealer hides any signs of puffy under-eye drama:
"I've struggled to cover my dark under-eye circles for as long as I can remember. I've tried everything! Every dark eye-circle concealer, foundations, creams etc. Everything that seemed to work for others made no difference to me. I even started asking tattoo artists if they could cover them (no they can't it turns out)," writes the user. "On a whim, I bought a Rimmel concealer from Tesco [a British grocery store] and it is amazing. It really does cover my circles and dark areas and sits really nicely under my foundation. It lasts all day and doesn't crease."

She also described a unique way of mixing her foundation with the light and dark shades of the Rimmel concealer. After priming her face with W7 Prime Magic Camera Ready Face Primer, she used the Rimmel concealer in Porcelain (a lighter shade) to cover the main dark areas under her eyes. "I found my normal concealer brush was too soft to pick up the concealer due to how hard it is so I used a stiff eye-shadow brush," she writes. Then she dabbed the darker shade (Ivory) under her eyes (applying the concealer erased the lighter shade she put on so she layered the shades). In the next step, she applied foundation over it to blend it together and finally dabbed on powder to set it. It seems like a lot of steps, but hey, you can't deny that she has mastered the art of getting rid of dark circles and bags.
