At this point, we can all agree that a pumpkin spice latte
is just about the most "fall" drink you can order. But have you ever
wished you could match your hair to this beloved beverage? Well, you
wouldn't be alone because it's now an actual trend!
[post_ads]Across Instagram, dye lovers are tagging their new orange and red fall 'dos
with PSL-related hashtags. While a quick glance at these new
"gingersnap hair" colors makes it clear that they're by no means new
shades, it is intriguing that America's obsession with Starbucks' iconic
autumn drink has reached the point where it's pervading the fashion and
beauty world.
If you
want to get this look for yourself, consult with a pro — reds can be
especially complicated to do at home, after all. "Ask your stylist for a
copper-based color that will look best with your skin tone," advises
colorist Meri Kate O'Connor of Eva Scrivo Salon. "There are so many different versions, from golden tones to shades that are more chestnut-based."
So if you're in the market for a brand new hair color this season, take a look at some of the stunning coppers and oranges we found that were inspired by PSL.
It's beautiful as an all-over color, or as an ombre look.

The copper looks stunning when blended together with other shades, like ruby and auburn.
Of course, we can't forget that some people are born with a natural pumpkin spice hair color. Lucky girl!
