When you know what works for you, work it.

Demi Lovato
isn't exactly a stranger to playing around with different lengths and
hair colors, but she always comes back to her short, dark brunette look.
(Hey, when you know what works for you, work it.) A prime example? Last
October, when she went from dark and short to long and blond and then back to dark and short again—all
in less than a week. Recently, she's been in the long-haired camp
though, wearing extensions to the Grammys (where she had some seriously
Rapunzel-length hair) and the Oscars.

the pendulum swings both ways, and it wasn't long before she returned
to the spotlight with a fresh, much-shorter cut. At the Nickelodeon
Kids' Choice Awards on Saturday night, Demi stepped out with a
shoulder-length lob. The layered, angled look, with gently bent ends for
some cool-girl texture, wasn't too far off from what we've seen her in
before.
The man behind the magic, hairstylist César RamÃrez, posted a pic of her red-carpet look to Instagram.

Plenty of celebrities are jumping on the lob trend right now—Nina Dobrev, Selena Gomez, Kendall Jenner, and Bella Hadid
have all chopped their hair in the past two months or so. But knowing
Demi, we'll get a glimpse at another look not too long from now (and
that's one of the many reasons why we love her).
