In the age of Instagram, bold eyebrows are something to be celebrated — and, of course, double-tapped. That's why model Scarlett Costello continues to be proud of her unibrow, and often shares it (in the form of selfies) with her thousands of followers on social media.

The 19-year-old recently opened up to Teen Vogue about her facial features, explaining that she's had a unibrow her entire life and never really thought too much about it. "My mom always told me it’s good to have thick brows because she plucked her thin ones off in the '90s when pencil brows were in," Costello revealed. "I definitely wanted shaped, pointy brows when I was 15 or so, but thick bushy brows got trendy around then and I figured it was more 'me' to grow them out."
Today, Costello shows off her unibrow with pride, despite the fact that she sometimes receives negative comments on social media. "People have called me an ogre and a pretentious feminist," she admitted to Teen Vogue. Luckily, the model doesn't let any form of bullying get to her, explaining that she thinks she looks better with her unibrow than without it. "I’m a big believer in the idea that everyone looks the best the way their genes intended them to," she added. "The confidence of embracing natural beauty is what makes it great."
And Costello's unibrow is certainly something to be admired, judging from the endless compliments she receives from her followers and fans.
