This Rainbow Armpit Hair Look Is Perfect for Pride

[post_ads]However you normally feel about unicorn hair and its many spin-offs, it's safe to say that if there's any time to bust out the bright and adventurous beauty looks, it's during Pride month. This doesn't necessarily mean that everything rainbow links back to Pride, or that Pride has to be all ~*rainbows and sparkles*~. But if, say, you were interested in rocking your armpit hair don't care, and you also already rock the rainbow for LGBTQ+ rights, hairstylist Caitlin Ford has a look for you.

Ford, a St. Louis-based stylist and colorist, gave one lucky friend the rainbow hair treatment to end all others. Meet rainbow armpit hair, which may just be the final word on prismatic beauty:

This armpit dye job was, by comparison, small change. Ford, naturally, walked through the job on her Instagram story, which Allure caught:

Dye envy aside, the use of armpit hair is, alas, still somewhat of a political choice. After all, femme folks still have to fight stigmas about the "right" and "wrong" kind of hair, with armpits becoming an unlikely but still consequential part of that conversation. So it's cool to see subtle political messaging meet subtle political messaging — and oh yeah, those rainbow pits look cool as hell.
