We love to stare at matte nails on Instagram, but I think most of us are wary about getting a set of our own. Although matte nails look soft and unique, the vast majority of us have grown up with shiny nail polish, and that's what we're used to.
But let's break from the norm this fall and finally give matte a chance!

Allow me to introduce you to my lovely friend, Chrome. The two of you are completely different, but you know what they say: opposites attract.

Don't be afraid to knock off the colors of nature. Whether it's jack-o'-lanterns or fallen leaves, orange is bangin' in the fall. You can spice things up with a geometric design.

Who would have thought leaving a part of your nail unpainted would look so good? Minimalist block designs are super chic, particularly with matte polish.

That's right, ombré looks amazing in matte nail art too. Deep colors, such as the red below, mixed with black make the best choices for fall.

OK, so maybe it's your first time trying out the matte look. Ease yourself into it with these half-matte, half-glitter nails.
