Let's all be honest here: Rihanna basically owned Fashion Week. Actually, between her incredible Fenty Beauty launch, inclusive ad campaign, and her wildly popular Fenty x Puma show. That's why I'm looking no further than RiRi herself to see what's poised to be the season's coolest makeup trend: purple highlighter. Yes, purple. Stay with me, dear reader.

Initially spotted by the eagle-eyed folks over at PopSugar, this trend has already been exemplified by Rihanna, who owned it with a super-subtle yet stunning lavender highlighter at a London party for her makeup line.
