The vibe for this styled shoot? Modern, clean and minimal. “We didn't want anything too fussy,” says hairstylist Anna Breeding. This lived-in chignon
has a slightly tousled feel, while still remaining sleek and simple.
“It exemplifies our polished and put-together vision, without looking
stiff or forced. It still has a natural flow about it.” Oribe Dry Texturizing Spray at the roots and a bit of backcombing added grip and volume to the bride’s tresses.

Brie
Larson’s asymmetrical updo (and red Oscar de la Renta dress) at the
Kong, Skull Island premiere in Los Angeles harkened back to classic
screen sirens, like Audrey Hepburn and Rita Hayworth. The deep side
part, bun and face-framing, finger waves embodied old Hollywood glamour
at its finest.

Style
icon Grace Kelly served as the inspiration for this bride’s big day
look—and, if you ask us, she totally nailed it. From her classic center
part and polished bun to her chantilly lace gown, she epitomized
timeless elegance.

At
the 2017 Academy Awards, supermodel Chrissy Teigen looked simply
stunning sporting a low bun, offset by a few face-framing pieces, which
lent a laid back allure to her sophisticated style.

"The bride wanted soft and loose curls with lots of texture, but didn't want her hair to overpower her petite frame,” says Parlour 3
hairstylist Jill Scisson. This soft bun, with wispy strands in the
front, is simple, pretty and has an airy allure—ideal for an outdoor
ceremony. Pro tip: Oribe Dry Texturizing Spray, a teasing brush and Oribe Superfine Hair Spray are the key to adding lots of texture and hold (sans stiffness).

Emma
Stone is consistently the picture of polished perfection, and her
loosely rolled coif at the 2017 Golden Globes was no exception.
Hairstylist Mara Roszak, prepped Stone’s damp strands with volumizing
mousse on the roots and oil on the ends, before blowing it out with a
large round brush and setting it in Velcro rollers. Aftering curling
Stone’s tresses, she rolled the ends of starlet’s strands up and under
to form a chignon at the nape of her neck, securing with bobby pins and
leaving out a few loose pieces in front. Want a better look at the back?
