'Negative Space' nail-art is the latest beauty trend to go viral

There's a new nail-art trend on the block, and this one requires a bit of a steady hand.

Sometimes, less is more when it comes to beauty. Negative space nail-art (also known as 'blank space' nail-art) i a new trend that totally acknowledges this.

The idea is to leave a strip (in a line or a certain shape) unpainted when doing your nails to create a cool patterned effect on your tips.

The trend was out in force backstage at fashion shows such as Prabal Gurung and Emerson in recent seasons.
