These new gadgets do it all — cleanse our pores more deeply than ever before, make sheet-masking a 90-second endeavor, analyze our skin with dermatological precision via our iPhones, and completely change shaving as we knew it. Their other main draw? These devices make our homes feel like day spas and every skin-care treatment more like a professional facial. We have a feeling we're going to look really, really good this year.

La Roche-Posay UV Sense

This tiny little nail sticker of a wearable from French pharmacy mainstay La Roche-Posay is a clear sign that beauty — and more importantly — skin cancer prevention, is getting way more advanced. This tiny nine-millimeter device (which is not yet released, but was debuted at this year's Consumer Electronics Show) will pair with an app to cue users when they need to re-up their SPF, head into a shadier area, or make other skin-care adjustments to combat the effects of pollution, humidity, or allergens. NuBody Skin-Toning Device

Sure, this gadget looks like a phone for aliens, but, in fact, it has the unique distinction of being the first-ever FDA cleared microcurrent device for at-home use on the body. The tool visibly helps tone and firm body skin and contour the body using metal spheres to channel electric waves through the skin. Sound to good to be true? Our tester saw subtle but visible results after weeks of use.

Neutrogena Skin360 and SkinScanner Powered by FitSkin

This device is just $50, but you'd think — given its impressive, dermatologist-worthy capabilities, its price tag would be far higher. This little white attachment hooks right on to the top of your iPhone and allows you to analyze your skin's hydration, pore size, and formation of fine lines, using a 30-times magnification camera and moisture sensor to provide information you'd otherwise need a doctor to procure.

Philips VisaPure Advanced Electric Facial Cleansing Brush

While facial cleansing brushes are not, at this point, reinventing the wheel, this one comes pretty close. It features ultra-slim bristles (20,000 of them, to be exact, on its main brush head), which dig deep into the pores and remove dirt and sebum better than, try as we might, our hands and water ever could on their own. But that's not all — a tiny circular brush head is made to contour the nose area, a common area of concern for blackheads and pore congestion to give a precise, deep clean. Finally, adding extra value and making this feel like two for the price of one, you also get a massage head, which allows your quick application of moisturizer to become a toning, relaxing facial massage.

Foreo thought about our collective obsession with sheet-masking and decided the skin-care company could do better — and as a result, the UFO was born.
