There's nothing we love more than a fun hair trend, and
this one's a new favourite. Sun Bun, the new tie-dye hair technique
developed by Blue Tit Salon's Head of Colour Harriet Muldoon, is the perfect way to rock brave pastel hair this spring.

While the application process looks a little scary, the
results are fiercely pretty. Simply pick your colour(s) and prepare for
the perfect shimmering pastel dip dye! This is definitely one to watch,
and here at GLAMOUR HQ we love a bit of rainbow hair.
"The 'Sun Bun' creates a technicolour rainbow effect, by
applying different coloured dyes with the hair secured in buns. It's
been called 'the new dip dye' and will be a key move on for colour on
2016," says Harriet, who has shared the steps to the process below:
- Brush through hair and split into six even segments
- Secure each segment into a bun with a clip
- Apply different colour dyes to each bun - it's a great technique for use of multiple colours as it gives a marble effect
- Leave for 10 minutes
- Unwrap each bun
- Rinse and style as normal
