Here's what that looks like in different parts of the world...
INDIA
Indian brides, particularly those loyal to Hinduism, opt for red over white as red symbolises commitment, spirituality and fertility. It's not uncommon for nose rings to be worn on the left side of the face, as a mark of beauty. Henna adorns the hands and feet, drawn on by either professional mehndi artist or relative. Most women at the wedding with have henna to symbolise joy and offering.
