Straight/Fine Hair

  1. Saturate dry strands with Bb. Tonic Lotion to thoroughly detangle, condition and prime hair.
  2. Work a nickel-sized amount of Bb. Sumotech throughout your hair, adding more depending on your length.
  3. For short hair: Comb strands straight back, so the sides of your hair lay flush against your scalp.
  4. For medium to long hair: Starting at the nape of your neck, create a clean part across the back of your hair, add a quarter-sized amount of Bb. Sumotech, and brush through. Continue adding the gel throughout hair sections working your way up. Once you reach your crown, comb strands straight back, making sure the sides of your hair are slicked.
  5. For medium to long hair: Tousle your ends for movable locks that look wet all day.

Wavy Hair

  1. Saturate dry strands with Oribe Foundation Mist to detangle and tame frizz.
  2. For short hair: Work a nickel-sized amount of Oribe Rock Hard Gel through your hair and comb straight back.
  3. For medium to long hair: Starting at the nape of your neck, create a clean part across the back of your hair, add a quarter-sized amount of Oribe Rock Hard Gel, and brush through. Continue adding the gel throughout hair sections working your way up. Once you reach your crown, comb strands straight back, with the sides of your hair laying flush against your scalp.
  4. For medium to long hair: tousle your ends to add separation and wavy movement.

Curly Hair

  1. Curly hair needs a thicker spray to properly wet, detangle, and prep locks for the wet look. I recommend adding water and a coconut-infused conditioner, such as Bb. Crème de Coco Conditioner to a plastic spray bottle. Shake the mixture, spritz on dry hair, and brush through.
  2. Curly hair often absorbs product and dries quickly, so keep your hair looking wet by adding oil. Use a silicone-free oil spray like Bb. Curl Luminous Oil Spray, which leaves curls looking shiny with a lightweight finish.
  3. For short hair: Work a quarter-sized amount of Rene Furterer Style Vegetal Sculpting Gel through your hair and brush straight back to create the slick back look.
  4. For medium to long hair: Starting at the nape of your neck, create a clean part across the back of your hair, add a quarter-sized amount of Rene Furterer Style Vegetal Sculpting Gel, and finger comb through. Continue adding this stronghold gel throughout the sections, working your way up. Once you reach your crown, brush strands straight back into the rest of your hair, making sure they lay flush against your scalp.
  5. For medium to long hair: Add extra gel to your ends and scrunch upward to beat frizz and seal in your glossy look.

Coily Hair

  1. Similar to curly hair, coily hair also needs extra attention when it comes to detangling and de-frizzing. Add water and an avocado-infused conditioner, like Rene Furterer Lissea Smoothing Conditioner to a plastic spray bottle. Shake this mixture, spritz on, and brush through for intense volume control.
  2. Keep coily textures slick and shiny by applying a hair oil. I recommend using a product that contains strengthening argan oil, like Sachajuan Intensive Hair Oil.
  3. For short hair: Work a nickel-sized amount of R+Co Wall St Strong Hold Gel through your hair and brush straight back for a high gloss hold.
  4. For medium to long hair: Starting at the nape of your neck, create a clean part across the back of your hair, add a quarter-sized amount of R+Co Wall St Strong Hold Gel, and brush through. Continue adding this stronghold gel to the sections, working your way up. Once you reach your crown, brush strands straight back into the rest of your hair. Your strands should lay flush against your scalp, tucked behind your ear.
  5. For medium to long hair: Add extra gel to your ends and scrunch upward for long-lasting sheen.
