They're boo-tiful!
Sometimes finding a costume is a daunting task. (You can only be a so many times!) And sometimes you just don't care enough to dress up but still want to go the party your friend is throwing. So, what do you do? Apply these halloween makeup looks that are costumes on their own.
Thanks to two of MAC Cosmetic's senior makeup artists, Regan Rabanal and Gina Bettelli, here are four looks that'll have you ready for Halloween faster than you can say "trick or treat"!
* The Poisonous Villan
2. Cut into the sponge around the design to create the stamps. Use sewing or lash scissors, cut into the sponge along the outline of the leaf. Make sure to cut a few centimeters deep, so the stamp sits up from the sponge and is 3-D.
3. Fill in and elongate your brows. For this look, you can go a shade darker than your natural brow shade and angle the beginnings of your brows downward to make you look more badass. Model Diandra used a flat-tip square brush and a black cream liner to exaggerate her arches. To figure out how much to extend the tail, position the brush handle at a diagonal at your nostril, so the tip of it lands at the outer corner of your eye. That's where your elongated brow should end.
4. Give yourself a graphic, green smoky eye. Use a fluffy eye shadow brush to apply a green pigment — Diandra used MAC's Chromacake in "Landscape Green" — to the inner socket and outer corners of your eye, leaving the center of your eyelid bare, and then sweep the color under your eyes as well. At the outer corner, extend it out toward the end of your eyebrow but don't go beyond the tail of the brow.
5. Add depth to the eye with black liner. Clean off and use the same flat-tipped brush you used in step 3, and use it to apply black cream eye liner along your lash line. Slightly mimic the shape that you did with the wing, elongating the eye again but keeping it close to the lashes. Then, buff the black liner into the green shadow a bit to make it more dramatic.
6. Add an opaque metallic gold cream shadow onto the center of your eyelid where there is negative space. This mimics a comic character's shiny costume. To apply it, use a flat synthetic concealer brush, lay down the metallic hue, and take it from your lash line up to the crease so it lines up with the rest of the eye look. Also, line the inner "V" corner of your eye.
7. Sculpt your face with bronzer. Using a bronzer that's two shades darker than your skin tone, contour your jawline, the sides of your nose, along your hairline, and on the inner corners of your eyes close to your nose (this makes your brows look lower, to give a more sinister look). Then, take a light golden bronzer and dust it onto the center of your forehead, down the middle of your nose, on your chin, and in a "3" and "E" shape, so it highlights the areas in between the darker bronzer.
8. Line and fill in your lips with a wine-colored lip pencil.
9. Use the stamps to create a "V" formation, starting between your eyebrows. Dip the larger stamp into the same green pigment you used for your smoky eye in step 4, and then create a statement in between your arches. Continue to alternate the sizes as you create the "V" formation. You can also extend the stamps down your neck, starting behind your ear and moving down your neck (think: Rihanna's star tattoo).
10. Add gold accents over the green stamps. When you're finished with the green, blot it onto a clean tissue, and then dip the smaller leaf stamp into a gold pigment (Diandra used MAC Cosmetics Pigment in "Gold") and carefully stamp it over the green leaves in various places to add dimension and glamour.

2. Prep your false lashes. Pick up a pair of falsies that have a pretty, yet spiky look to them and peel them off the case before cutting them in half. "This look is a little Marie Antoinette and a little grunge, so these lashes will give us that vibe," Rabanal says.
3. Make a light base for your face. Take your usual foundation color and mix a dime-size amount with a dime-size amount of white acrylic paint (that's safe for your skin) to give you a paler look. I used MAC Cosmetic's Acrylic Paint in "Pure White." Next, highlight the planes of your face, like the under-eye area, your jawline, above your cupid's bow, over your brows, in the center of your forehead, down your nose, two swipes along the high points of your neck, and finally along the collarbone, using a makeup wedge dipped in the light makeup mix. Blend the edges into your skin tone, but don't lose the intensity where you initially applied the white-based foundation.
4. Use a powder-blue cream shadow to create a sunken-looking socket. I applied "Clearwater" from MAC Cosmetics over my brows and under my lash line, using a synthetic rounded brush so it gave a nice shape.
5. Contour your cheekbones with a brownish-gray cream shadow. Extend the color from the corners of your mouth up toward your ear and directly under you cheekbones, using a synthetic foundation brush. Try Maybelline New York Color Tattoo by EyeStudio 24 Hour Eyeshadow in "Tough as Taupe."
6. Add dimension and create the look of hollow cheeks with black liner. Dip a smaller synthetic brush into a pot of black cream liner and add depth to the brownish-gray shadow to hollow out your cheeks. Next, outline the top of the brown contouring that you created underneath your cheekbone, and extend the line up and around your orbital bone. Then, from the high cheek points (by the tops of your ears), trace the outside of your face, bringing the line right before your chin. Buff the lines with the brush so they're less harsh. Lastly, along the white swipes of paint on your neck, add black to make it look more sunken in.
7. Apply the false lashes with a clear or black glue. Position them in the center of your eye on the top and bottom. "This gives an antique, aristocratic, doll-like look," Rabanal says.
8. Give yourself rosy cheeks. Using a small fluffy blending brush, apply a baby-pink blush right in the center of your cheeks.
9. Black out the end of your nose. With the same black cream liner you used in step 6, draw an upside-down heart as a nose.
10. Diffuse red lip color onto your lips and then outline them. Make little heart-shaped lips by using your fingertip to pat red lipstick onto the curved parts of your top lip and on the center of your bottom lip. Then, define the heart by outlining the curves of your top lips and a curved "V" for your bottom lip.
11. Add finishing touches. Line your natural brow with black cream liner and give yourself a beauty mark wherever you fancy.
12. All done! You're officially a damsel of death.
* Pop Art Perfection
2. Square off the beginning of your brows, elongate the tail ends, and fill in your arches. Do this using a black acrylic paint and an angled brush.
3. Create a thick cat-eye using liquid liner. Try Tarte Cosmetics Clay Pot Amazonian Clay Waterproof Liner. To nail it perfectly, use this tutorial.
4. Draw a tear below your right eye with black eye liner. And then fill it in with cyan-blue acrylic paint.
5. Apply false lashes to your top lash line.
6. Swipe on a classic red lip color. Try L'Oréal Paris Colour Riche La Lacque Lip Pen in "Lacquerized."
7. Add black lines to outline some of your features. Aside from the dots, this really gives you that pop art look. Model Kelsey traced the left and right side of her face with black acrylic paint, the side of her nose, one of her nostrils, her right cheekbone, and the left side of her jawline. Then, outline your lips, collarbones, and accentuate your cleavage with the paint as well.
8. Create the bounce back of light on your bottom lip and in the tear using the white acrylic paint from step 1.
* All Dolled Up
2. Sweep a sandy-brown shadow all over your eyelid from the lash line to the crease. This gives a plasticy tone to the skin. Carina used MAC Cosmetics ProLongwear Eyeshadow in "One to Watch."
3. Apply white eye shadow in the center of your eyelid at the lash line and right below the middle of your brow. This opens up your eye space, giving you a more doe-eyed, doll-like look.
4. Paint on rounded eyebrows. If your brows are on the thinner side, it will be easy to swipe on a skinny brow line using gel liquid liner and an angled brush. If your brows are on the thicker side, do your best to mimic the rounded shape shown here. If you need a guide, pick up a brow stencil kit, like this one from E.L.F. Cosmetics.
5. Wing out your eye liner. Don't go for a full on cat-eye here. Use a black cream liner and a pointed brush to line your entire eye, tapering the tail in more to make it more of a kitten-eye.
6. Line your inner bottom rim and lower lash line with white eye liner to make the whites of your eye appear bigger.
7. With the black cream liner and pointed brush from step 5, trace the bottom of your eyeball to create a new rounded eye shape.
8. Apply four strips of dramatic-looking false lashes to your eyes. Using the new line you created as your bottom lash line, apply the first set of falsies directly over it, followed by second set along your natural top lash line. Repeat on the other eye. Carina used MAC Cosmetics False Lashes in #7.
9. Pop a bubblegum-pink blush onto the apples of your cheeks.
10. Dot on the freckles with an eyebrow pencil. To create a believable faux freckle, Bettelli says to choose where you'd like the freckle to be, place the tip on your skin, and gently twist it for a perfect circle.
11. Use the same face foundation from step 1 to erase any pink tones in your lips. This allows you to reshape your lips however you'd like them to look.
12. Create a smaller-shaped mouth with a berry-colored lip color using a lip brush to create a precise application. Try Revlon Super Lustrous Lip Color in "Plumalicious."
