Whether you want to test-run a shoulder-grazing crop or show off an intricate neckline, a faux bob is a fun and unique way to do it. And we love Sam McKnight's soft yet shapely version at Fendi. The key to keeping a faux bob from falling out is to create an anchor for it. After blow-drying the hair smooth and adding a side part, McKnight made a small braid at the very nape of the neck (like a rattail that was then pinned up). The rest of the hair was doused with Oribe Dry Texturizing Spray, for volume, and tied in a very low ponytail, about two inches from the ends. Those bottom two inches were then braided and the whole shebang was rolled up to the nape. "Basically, you pin the two braids to one another so you don't have to worry about the pins slipping out," said McKnight.
