Actress and Teen Vogue cover star Bella Thorne has officially come out as bisexual, and we couldn't be happier for her. She spoke out about her sexuality in a very organic way — she didn't make a grand announcement, or wait for a big interview with a magazine, but instead opted to simply talk about it when it came up. Bella recently ended things with British actor Gregg Sulkin, and has been reportedly single. Now, photos of the 18-year-old Famous in Love star kissing a girl have popped up on the internet, and excited fans have been reaching out to Bella on her Twitter, asking if she identifies as bisexual, and she confirmed with a yes.

She was met with an outpouring of support from her fans, including us. We couldn't be prouder of Bella for living her authentic and best life. That said, it's also important to note that this kind of personal information is never something anyone owes to the public. Sexual identity is never something anyone should be forced to talk about, and it is never something that anyone should feel they have to label either. Regardless of how people identify, Bella is doing her part to make the world (and internet) a safer and more supportive space for people in the LGBTQ community.
Though Bella has never spoken publicly about her sexuality, she has always been a supporter of the LGBTQ community. Most recently, one of the star's followers tweeted at her that he is transgender, and hopes to transition when he gets older, asking the star if that’s OK.
“Whatever makes YOU happy my love,” Bella wrote back, with #doyou right after.
And she's definitely taking her own advice and choosing to do whatever makes her happy, which we couldn't be more supportive of. And if you feel like your identity isn't OK, stop the self-doubt and take Bella's advice: do you.
