As anyone who's ever been to a Red Lobster
knows, walking through its doors inevitably means eating your weight's
worth in complimentary biscuits (with no shame.) Now, there's another
freebie coming you way, and weirdly, it's not food-related.

the company has announced plans to offer a lip balm designed to taste
like its famous Cheddar Bay Biscuits. Yes, you read that right. The news
celebrates the dish's 25th anniversary, and what better way to
celebrate than with biscuit-scented beauty products?

just anyone can get their lips on the biscuit-flavored balm. The
restaurant chain is gifting only a select number through a goodie bag
giveaway, with other items including T-shirts, magnets, and foam Cheddar
Bay Biscuits (restrain yourself from taking a bite out of those). The
lip balm will only be available for a limited time — and that's not even
counting how briefly the product will last once you lick it off your
lips.
For those of you who want a chance at a true Red Lobster
takeout experience, you have to sign up for Red Lobster's Fresh Catch
Club by 5 p.m. on May 8. Two hundred and fifty lucky Fresh Catch Club
members will then receive the goodie bag that's sure to make even
Beyoncé envious (remember "Formation"?).
Who knows? If feedback is
positive enough, perhaps this'll be the start of a whole line of Red
Lobster cosmetics. A seafood-themed makeup palette? We've got some mixed
feelings on that one.
