This, however, won’t be the case when you visit lingerie meets athleisure (dubbed “leisurée”) site, LIVELY.
The recently launched e-commerce site boasts body positivity and
authenticity as part of its ethos. And their new campaign backs that up.
LIVELY’s “Real Girl Fit Guide” features four real women modeling their
bras, ranging from sizes 32A to 38D.
The brand’s founder/CEO (and Victoria’s Secret alum), Michelle Cordeiro Grant, says that the campaign’s inspiration came directly from their customers.
[post_ads]“In the early stages of just sharing
our mission on social, we received such a tremendous response from our
community of women—from a girl overcoming anorexia
and telling us that, with LIVELY, she finally felt comfortable in her
own skin, to a transgender woman who said LIVELY is the first lingerie
brand she will be wearing,” says Cordeiro Grant. “Our followers became
brand lovers first, customers second, and we would receive inquiries
daily from girls wanting to be a part of the brand in some capacity.”
To find the models, they had 30 regular girls come in for a casting
call and asked that they write down what it means to them to be sexy and
#liveLIVELY. The responses were pretty powerful such as, “Learning to
love myself first,” and, “Being comfortable in my own skin.”

Besides having an awesomely empowering message, these bras will check off all your must-haves: cute, comfy, and affordable. The bras feature unique mesh paneling, will “have your back for 14 hours a day,” and are available to buy in packs (like 3 bras for $75!). Hell, yeah.
