Find the right brand.
When attempting a subtle look on the eyes, you'll want to avoid any dark or bright colors. The best way to do this is to choose brands that are not heavily pigmented or known for bold color palettes, and to select specific products that are known for more natural looks. Bobbi Brown, Laura Mercier, and Hourglass are all great choices for light, natural makeup.Try a cream shadow.
A cream shadow is a great choice for a base. Choose something light, like Laura Mercier's Caviar Stick in "Moonlight," for a hint of subtle sparkle or go with a more neutral product, like Bobbi Brown's Long-Wear Cream Shadow Stick in "Nude Beach," for a matte wash of color. Shadow sticks are easy to work with and budge-proof, so they're perfect for lasting all day and night. For some, just a light hint of color on the lid is enough. If you'd like a little bit more, use a slightly darker shadow in the crease or at the lash line.[post_ads_2]
