So you're finally getting over the shock of squiggle brows. Well, just when you thought it was safe to go back on Instagram for beauty inspiration, makeup mavens have made it perfectly clear that they're not done making their facial features look wavy.

This week, a mind-bending photo posted by a cosmetologist named Lexington went viral, declaring that the new trend is wavy lips.

Originally, she claimed that the effect was done with makeup and not a photo-editing app, but she has since updated the caption to indicate she was being sarcastic.

That hasn't stopped other people from posting their versions of wavy lips, very much really done with makeup.
