Does anyone still wear a hat? We’re glad you asked. Because they absolutely do. And if we’re talking about this season specifically, we’re willing to bet everyone will be sporting the following five topper trends.

Oh, you thought red was only trending
for clothes and bags this season? Think again. Scarlett-hued hats are a
great, noncommittal way to get in on the look without going all in on a
more expensive piece like a dress or coat. To make sure your hat is the
star of the show, keep the rest of your outfit neutral. (And yes, we’re
considering her leopard bag a neutral.)

Baseball Caps

Do you want to look sporty even though you're unathletic to the
point of injuring yourself getting off a spin bike? Wear a baseball cap,
baby. The style has come a long way from the team logos of yore
(although that's still acceptable). Now, they're trending in solid
colors and cool fabrics like wool, tweed and leather, and fit right in
with everything from jeans and a sweater to a swing dress and boots.
