I realize that I dropped the ball on a “back-to-school” post for 2017 (although some schools might not have started yet). On a side note, why do schools start so early these days? When I was in school, we usually started mid-September and got out mid-June. It seems like most schools start in August now. Anyways, I wanted to put together some awesome tutorials that showcase some cute hairstyles for school. Even if you (or your kids) already started school, you can still benefit from watching these.
1
Space Buns

Space buns have been a staple in the 2017 hairstyle diet. They are really easy to do… you literally just need to put your hair in two buns. You can spruce them up however you like. Most people pair these with reverse braids up the back of the head or glitter.

Braided Roses

Braided roses are a super cute way to style your hair for school this year, but they might take a little more work than space buns. However, they probably aren’t as hard as you would think. Check out this awesome tutorial from MakeupWearables Hairstyles.

Loose Braided Pigtails

Loosely braided pigtails should be pretty easy for most people to do, yet they are extremely trendy right now. If you are unsure on how to do it, here is a tutorial from Lush Hair Extensions. It shows you how to do this style with extensions, but you can easily do it without them if you wanted.

Low Ponytail

Low ponytails are really in style right now, no matter how you wear them. I personally like the messy, not-put-together low ponytail styles. You can pair a low ponytail with side braids for extra trend points.

Upside-Down Braided Ponytail

Last but not least, I noticed a lot of people doing upside-down braids this year, paired with other styles. Lainey Marie Beauty can help you out with that one.
