Skin Care Tips to Live By:
#1. A favorite skin trend:
Multi-masking. Because of his combination skin, Sir John has to do a
balancing act when it comes to taking care of his skin. Multi-masking is
when you apply different masks that have various uses to different
areas of your face. If you have an oily T-zone like Sir John, apply a
clay mask to the area. If you have dryness, look for a hydrating mask to
apply to your cheeks and under-eye area.
#2. A favorite skin product:
“I love
glycolic toner and use it typically three times a week,” says Sir John. A
natural exfoliator, glycolic acid found in some toners can help deliver
much-needed hydration to dry or mature skin.
#3: Current skin care focus:
Hydration.
“I don’t break out as much as I used to, so I don’t use salicylic acid
as much now that I’m getting older, “but now I’m focusing on hydrating
so I look for products formulated with hyaluronic acid and rose oil.”

#4: Regular skin care treatment:
Laser hair removal. To look smooth and sleek on any given day, Sir John keeps up with laser hair removal treatments.
#5: His skin loving- go-to beverage:
Carrot juice. “I drink a lot of carrot juice,” says Sir John. Carrots
and other orange-y fruits and vegetables are rich in beta-carotene, a
nutrient that is great for maintaining healthy-looking skin.
#6: Never has an excuse not to fit a workout in:
“I jump rope because it’s good for the face,” says Sir John who always
finds a way to keep his blood pumping when jet setting about – the great
thing about a jumping rope is that it is easy to bring along with you
anywhere. Exercise helps give your face a natural glow, thanks to the
feel-good endorphins and sweat.
#7: Makes resting a priority:
“I make
sure to get enough sleep, but it might be more for my mood than my
skin,” says Sir John. Still sleep is an essential component to
healthy-looking skin and lifestyle. Sleep is necessary for your overall
wellbeing, which can be reflected in the way you look and feel.
