True,
a rose by any other name would smell as sweet. But eyes, cheeks, and
lips in any other hue? Most definitely not. Rose is the color of
excitement, anticipation, liveliness, vitality, and lest we forget,
romance. And sure, with Valentine's Day right around the corner, you
might feel even more inclined to dip into your pink powders or dab on a
dusty rose lipstick than you might normally. But over here, we don't
need a holiday to celebrate the full range of rosy hues — from the
not-too-cloyingly cute powdery shades to the high-octane hot pinks. We
love them all 365 days a year, 24 hours a day, and seven days a week.
Here are just nine more reasons that we want to live la vie en rose — and we mean that quite literally (because really, is there any other way?) Nope, we didn't think so either.

A slightly peachy take seen here on Lily Collins, made less sweet thanks to pointy winged liner and somewhat spiky lashes.

You
know those acid pink roses they sell at bodegas and grocery stores?
That very artificial color looks cool and not the least bit tacky when
drawn in wide cat-eyes and paired with a slinky black dress, like scene
here on Emily Ratajkowski.
