Three months to go
Unless you're going au natural this summer (which we're totally on board with), now is a good time to start thinking about hair removal - especially if you want lasting results.
With state-of-the-art laser treatments available in cosmetic clinics across the country, as well as an array of high-tech, at-home devices, it's never been easier to begin a comprehensive hair removal regime.
If you're going pro, you'll need to book a series of treatments for total permanent hair removal (your practitioner will be able to devise a treatment plan for you) but rest assured, you'll start to notice a significant reduction in hair just a few weeks after your first treatment.
Highly recommended is the Cynosure Elite laser - an intelligent, professional machine that detects each patient's melanin levels to adapt the wavelength of the light emitted, meaning that the treatment is suitable for a wide range of skin tones.
That's not to mention the advanced, at-home offerings like the Philips Lumea Prestige, which uses IPL (intensed pulsed light) to target the hairs and prevent regrowth. For best results, you'll need to use a device like this every other week for two months and could notice a 92% reduction in body hair. Hurrah!
Two months to go
Microblading is the biggest buzz word in beauty right now and it's not hard to understand why; the intricate eyebrow technique uses tiny blades to deposit pigment under the skin, creating the appearance of hair.
Not only does the game-changing treatment give you the brows of your dreams, but it also means you can ditch the brow powder this beach season as the results are semi-permanent and last up to a year. Brow down.

One month to go
Summer is all about showing some skin and feeling confident while doing so, but after months of cold weather and covering up, skin is often in need of some serious TLC.
Apply a richly nourishing top-to-toe body cream every night, starting at feet and working towards the heart to boost circulation while rehydrating skin. For amplified results, try a product that contains a chemical exfoliant, like Ameliorate Transforming Body Cream, which contains Alpha Hydroxy Acids to boost cell turnover and encourage the growth of healthy, luminous skin.
If it's wobbly bits you're concerned about, pick up a body brush (we love Mio's circular brush head and easy-hold handle) and gently buff dry skin in upwards sweeping motions to really get circulation going and reduce any areas of stubborn cellulite.

We've all been there; the sun is shining, the temperature is rising... the sweat patches are forming.
Don't sweat it this summer thanks to a nifty trick that celebrities like to use for red carpet events involving Botoxto prevent sweating.
"Botox can be used to holt sweat production in a certain area like under the arms," explains world-renowned cosmetics practitioner Dr Michael Prager. "The results are incredible and can last up to six months".
