Mohawk Half-Up Braid
It’s like the trending center part braid on steroids. Grab a three- to four- inch section of hair at your forehead and loosely French braid it, stopping at the crown. Side note: It’s perfect for second- or third-day hair for obvious reasons.
Twisted Side Braid
Rather than wrangling three strands, this “braid” uses only two. Think of it as a Dutch twist, where you start with two pieces at your part, picking up more sections as you work your way down toward your ear. Pin it back and voilà !
Cross Bun
Nine a.m. meeting? This bun means business. Section off the front of your hair and clip it out of the way. Then pull the rest of your hair back into a sleek bun at the crown of your head. Unclip the front section and part it down the middle. Just wrap the right side of hair over the left and pin it under the bun. Do the same thing on the left side and you’re one step closer to crushing.
