14 Valentine’s Day Manicures For Those Feeling The Love

The holidays are the perfect excuse to treat yourself to a fresh manicure.

With Valentine's Day right around the corner, it's time to start thinking about how to celebrate the cheesy, commercial holiday. There's some gift deals on Amazon for last-minute, cheap presents. Or celebrate with a party for your friends where you play a game of Prosecco Pong. Perhaps you want to celebrate solo, in which case we have the perfect gift for you.

Whatever you end up doing, a fresh set of nails will make the holiday even better. Here are 14 nail art styles to inspire you.

Sparkly red acrylics are the quintessential Valentine's Day mani.

These long and spicy nails are classy and sultry all at once. I love the nude and red color pairing, plus there's sparkling hearts embedded under the paint. What perfect date night nails!

Valentine's Day wouldn't be complete without candy hearts.

Candy hearts are a staple of the holiday, so why not have them on your nail? This manicure features matte shades of the pastel colors best known as the candy hearts. The sassy phrase on these nails read, "Ew," "No," and "Bye."

Pucker up with these kiss nails.

I love the simple style of these red lips on a pale pink background. The subtle flair is perfect for someone who doesn't want to go all-out for the holiday, but is down to show a little bit of love spirit. The nearly nude base color is just pink enough to work for the holiday and the bright red lip stamps.

These abstract Valentine's Day nail art look like geodes.

The swirling accent nails almost look like artistic geodes, and I am loving the look. The reds, pinks, and purples look so good standing out next to the pale pink nails. This works for the holiday, but is also a cool everyday look.

For the Valentine's Day superfan, these so extra stiletto nails are for you.

Glitter, pink, hearts, and jewels are all part of this extra manicure. Plus, the shape is a strong, sharp stiletto. There's nothing simple about this nail art.

This nail art pairs animal print with little hearts, and it works so well.

The leopard print is actually made out of tiny hearts and half hearts. It looks so cute and stylish, while being on brand for the holiday. Plus, the glittery red shade pushes it over the edge into Valentine's Day territory.

I love the idea of this inverted heart.

The inverted heart is such a cool idea and actually so easy to execute. The maroon nail shade is a sultry shade perfect for a date night. To get this look, you'll just need a heart sticker that you can paint around to get that inverted heart look.

These punk Valentine's Day nails give me goth vibes.

The red and black is an edgy version of the loving day. Plus, I love the "Kiss" and "Hugs" message on a clear background. The brash font gives it that punk feel.

This cutesy XO manicure is so adorable.

The matte paint job makes this a classy way to decorate your nails for the holiday. The swirling heart and giant XO are cute and adorable. These are a great way to celebrate but not too over-the-top.

A rose is another classic symbol of the holiday, and it looks so cute in manicure form.

A red rose symbolizes true love, so it's perfect for the loved-up holiday. These nails also feature an "XO" and an adorable tiny heart. The red and white paint contrast in a cool way.

Diamonds are a girl's best friend, so why not add a few gems to your manicure?

Bedazzled nail art is an easy way to take a manicure from boring to extravagant. Even without the jewels, this manicure would be anything but boring. It features a pink tie-dye nail, a sparkly one, and one with a heart design. Plus, the heart-shaped gems take it to the extreme.

Another perfect heart holiday color is a vibrant hot pink.

This flirty shade is a fun way to celebrate, and I love the ombré style of this manicure. The nail artist included one glittery pink nail and a few gems to give it some extra flair. But the pink tone is what makes it perfect for Valentine's Day.

A matte manicure makes any mani a little more classy.

Matte shades are so much more mature and professional-looking than a glittery one. So, if you want to go overboard with gems or designs, maybe try a matte shade to bring it down a notch. This nail artist chose matte red and white, and paired it with a glittery accent nail.

Follow Kylie Jenner's idea and create a heart design using two nails.

Kylie Jenner was obsessed with her nail artist's idea of using two of her nails to create a whole heart. On one side was half a heart that matched up perfectly with the other side. The makeup lover always has a fresh mani, and this one was worthy of being shown on her Instagram Stories.
