Although clumpy lashes have had their moment on the runway time and time again, the mod look isn't everyone's cup of tea. Most people do whatever they can to avoid them. We're even heard of people separating clumps with a needle. Eek. In the latest video in out Beauty Hacks video series, we have a much better and safer solution, as well as a couple other mascara hacks.
[post_ads]To declump your clumpy mascara, all you need is a glass of warm water. Once you have one ready, drop your mascara (with the cap screwed on tightly) directly into it. Let it hang out the tube hang out in the water for three minutes. After that time is up, you can pull it out and start using it again. Within seconds, you'll notice the water helped melt down all the annoying chunks and let the mascara swipe on smoothly once again. No needles needed.If clumps aren't your problem but thin, spidery lashes are, one of our other mascara hacks is the perfect fit for you. First of all, locate your nearest translucent powder. Next, using a fluffy eye shadow brush, sweep some of the powder along the base of your upper lash lines. The powder will naturally fall into your lashes — instead of your eyeballs. Then, apply your favorite mascara as usual. The results will be completely different because the translucent powder makes lashes thickens up lashes for a more voluminous look.
