This Secret Rainbow Highlighter by Chaos Makeup Is Stunning

Rainbow highlighters aren't hard to get your hands on these days. Thanks to inexpensive beauty brands like Wet n Wild and Miss A, you can snatch one for less than $5. And like the Bitter Lace Beauty Prism highlighter that started it all, most of the rainbow illuminators look the same: pressed pigments laid out in rainbow formation inside the pan. The Chaos Makeup Kaleidoscope Highlighter is no different — in that aspect at least. The way it looks on skin is completely different, though.

[post_ads]When the highlighter is swept onto cheekbones, the colorful pigments don't look true to the pan like other rainbow highlighters. Instead, they go on clear with a touch of opalescence. I repeat, it goes on clear. When the sun hits it, however, the rainbow hues are revealed. I know, it's sorcery of Harry Potter-level proportions. This highlighter is basically the mullet of the rainbow makeup world. Straight on, you'll look like the average person wearing the average highlighter — business as usual. However, it's all about the party from the side.
