I have got to be honest here. Sometimes, late at night, when I can't fall asleep and I've scrolled through everything you could possibly see on Instagram, I head over to Dr. Pimple Popper's page and just get lost. I watch countless clips of deep-rooted blackheads being popped, giant, pus-spewing cysts, and surgery-level lipoma extractions — nothing fazes me. It's almost as if the gruesome videos are somehow therapeutic. I can't really explain it (and I certainly don't have to), but nonetheless, I have a very weird, twisted appreciation for these popping videos. Which is why I continue to share them with the world.
[post_ads]The latest video, I'm bequeathing with you readers, which has already earned more than 300,000 views in less than two days, is a 23-minute movie-in-the-making of a giant, melon-sized lipoma being squeezed out of a woman's lower backside. And unlike other surgery-like clips we've seen in the past, this one is literally popped out of place.
Quick refresher: Not to be confused with a cyst, which is a fluid-filled sac, a lipoma is a slow-growing, benign growth of fat cells, according to Los Angeles-based dermatologist Sandra Lee, a.k.a. Dr. Pimple Popper. "It is contained in a thin, fibrous capsule and found right under the skin."
But back to the video. In said clip, for the first couple of minutes, Lee struggles to extract the lump of fatty tissue and has to resort to nipping away at the mass with surgical scissors, cutting her way through. It's finally around the six-minute mark that the majority of the melon-sized mass makes its way out — whew!

To see the entire traumatic extraction in all its gory — excuse me — glory, check out the full clip below. Word of warning, though: It gets a little hard to watch after minute seven.
