After we had a couple days to cope with (spoiler alert) Valentina's elimination on the last episode of RuPaul's Drag Race, Logo gave us something to help ease the pain. Yesterday, the TV network posted a makeup tutorial from the L.A.-based drag queen.
[post_ads]Watching the queens doing their makeup for challenges and the runway is arguably one of the best parts of Drag Race (apart from the Snatch Game) — it's mesmerizing and weirdly stress-relieving to watch the transformations. Sadly, we only get to enjoy snippets of the glam process. But thanks to this video, we can see Valentina's complete makeup routine, including her gluing down her brow nubs, contouring, and drawing on the sharpest of wings.
As she beats her face, Valentina shares some helpful drag makeup tips like the keys to the perfect cut crease, and using cool-toned brow shades if your hair is a natural color. "You guys, please don't be using no damn warm-ass colors for your brows unless you're doing colored hair," she said in the video. This is just a slice of the low-key humor she slips into her tutorial. (Not enough people talk about how hilarious she is. Her delivery is spot-on!)

"Do I look like a woman yet?" Valentina asks at one point in the tutorial. "I look like a potato." The Drag Race star also revealed the secret to her doll-like, borderline creepy look. Spoiler: It's round contacts with color that are larger than her real irises.
