With the latest eye shadow palettes racking up more shades than ever, trying to decide which ones to pair together is getting even more confusing. With the Sephora Collection Mixology Eyeshadow Palette, you don't have to be a professional makeup artist or beauty blogger to know how to use its 18 hues. Its arrangement does the work for you. The new palette eschews the classic row style that you're used to see with Too Faced's and Tarte's versions, in favor of venn diagrams. Yes, Sephora Collection took the circular mapping system you haven't seen since elementary school and applied it to eye shadow. It's kind of genius if you ask us.
[post_ads]Each venn diagram includes three matte and metallic shades of the same color scheme. Essentially, one set is all you need for a complete eye makeup look. On the left, you have your base shade. The right is the hue you should use in the crease. Then, you blend with the transition color in the middle. Of course, you can mix and match, too. One could be used for highlighting, and another could be a liner. Regardless, the palette is easily mapped out for you — no guesswork needed.
The hardest part of having the Mixology Eyeshadow Palette in your beauty routine is deciding which of the six color combos fits your vibe for the day. In the top row, you have peaches for an on-trend look, golds for something more neutral, and blacks and grays for classic smoky eyes. If you're going for a more colorful or bold look, the bottom row is where it's at. On the far left, you have a Pinterest favorite shade for spring, mauve.

In the middle, there's a beautiful burgundy with some browns for blending. And if summer can't come soon enough for you, you're going to love the glowy bronze hues on the right. They'll bring the sun to you wherever you are. In all, the mix of everyday neutrals and on-trend shades is spot on. TBH the only shade selection missing from the palette is blue.
