How To Apply 3D Matte Effect Nail Design?

Step 1
Apply Black Nail Polish

Start by applying a matte black nail polish. Since matte nail polishes are a bit expensive, you can apply a normal black nail polish. Let it dry for some time.

Step 2
Apply Matte Top Coat

Once the nail polish is dry, apply a matte top coat to give your nail polish a matte effect. Let the top coat dry for some time. The black matte top coat forms the base of your nail art.

Apply Gold and Silver Glitter Nail Polish

Now, take a golden and silver glitter nail polish and amp up your nail art with a central stripe of golden and silver glitter. Apply the stripe in a conical shape (somewhat like Eiffel tower!). You can do this with the help of nail polish brush. Else, if your hand is steady enough, use a thin nail art brush and draw the stripe gently. You can also apply some loose glitter over the stripe (when the polish is semi-wet) to add more shine. Wipe off the extra glitter using a wet nail art brush. Follow the same pattern as shown in the above picture. As the glitter polish dries up, apply a matte top coat over it. Your holiday nail art is ready!
