It was one of those makeup ‘a-ha!’ moments — I was pressed for
time and instead of just reaching for my favorite CC cream (which is
what I normally do, in a bind), I tried a little experiment. I suppose
being late induces the urge to experiment.

But before I reveal the jackpot, let me shed some background light on how it all came about.
Ever since Allure announced their Best of Beauty Awards, I was bound and determined to try the acclaimed flawless face that comes from Revlon’s Photoready Perfecting Primer.
So a few months back, I gave it a go. I wasn’t overly impressed it only
worked well if applied under a powder-based foundation. Using it
conjunction with a liquid foundation was incredibly cakey-thick with
uneven coverage.
So my perfecting primer turned out to be not so perfect — tossed into the bottom of the makeup bin, she went!
That is, until a few days ago.

Who knows what prompted this random thought — combine equal parts of Peter Thomas Roth CC Cream with the perfecting primer into one glorious mixture of perfection!
The key is dispensing both products in the palm of your hand, mixing
together by rubbing hands together, and then applying as if a
moisturizer. Basically, instead of applying the products in separate
layers, you’re combining the steps into one — in 30 seconds you have a
flawless finish without foundation! The results are amazing. Seriously.
Any CC cream or BB cream will work combined with a perfecting primer.
But don’t take my word for it — ask your face if it’s ready to look
flawless!
