It's a fishtail, it's a topknot, it's a...really cool combination of the two. This style works best if you have long, thick hair (like Ariana Grande). Blow-dry your hair smooth and brush it all into a high ponytail that hits right below the crown. Split the tail in two equal halves and twist and pin one half into a messy topknot. Run a styling cream (we like Verb Styling Cream) over the second section and create a clean fishtail braid that runs all the way to the ends. Secure with a clear elastic and wrap it around the base of the knot, placing a bobby pin at one-inch intervals around the perimeter to keep it locked in place.
