It's magical.
A Silly Putty-style highlighter is officially on the market, making all our '90s-themed beauty product dreams comes true. The product—which is made by Stila and called "Heaven's Hue Highlighter"—has actually been available for several months, but we only learned about it last week..
Bustle first picked up on the trend when beauty blogger Laura Lee tried it out in a new video. In its case, the highlighter looks like a regular eyeshadow or highlighter palette. But when touched, it reacts just like Silly Putty, changing when pressed but still sticking together.
[post_ads]The highlighter comes in three colors: Kitten, a shimmery nude pink; Transcendence, an opalescent pink; and Bronze, to create a sun-kissed glow. Lee tried all of them in her video, and, in her words, the highlighters had her "shook". Her reaction to each color was over-the-top affirmation, ranging from "Oh, my God" to "This product is genius" to "This may be my new favorite highlighter." She even gave it her 100 percent seal of approval. Lee loved the highlighters so much that she started applying them all over her face—on her nose, above her lip, on her lower lip—in addition to her cheekbones.
Lee says the product is great at staying on her skin. Typically, she applies setting spray after putting on powder highlighter—but she didn't need to with this putty-like product.
