And you thought this stuff was only good for sunburns. In fact, the same soothing ingredients (like vitamin E) that treat burns also treat the delicate skin around your eyes. Plus, if your puffiness is caused by allergens, aloe's anti-inflammatory properties are a huge help.

This one is so easy (and effective). Just dip a washcloth in ice-cold water, squeeze out the excess and lay it over your eyes for as long as you deem necessary. The cold water constricts blood vessels, which decreases the amount of fluid in the area and makes swelling go down.

The next time you wake up to puffy eyes (so, like, tomorrow), try putting chilled spoons over them. The cold spoons have the same effect as cold water—and are way less messy.

Puffiness is the result of excess fluid getting trapped around your eyes. To drain the fluid, take your ring and middle fingers and place them at the outer corners of your eyes. Start to gently massage the skin until you reach the inner corners and repeat as needed. Ahhh, much better.
The above tricks certainly work to de-puff your eyes, but you can also try to prevent the issue altogether. Do so by staying hydrated, cutting back on salt and keeping your head slightly elevated when you sleep, which prevents fluid from building up under your eyes.
